All MRI’s of the brain and spine have come back normal. Bell’s Palsy and Stroke has been ruled out. The numbness started in the face on one side including half of the tongue and nose. Over the past 9 days it has progressed to the neck, shoulder, arm and log. The face is completely numb but everything else has a tingly feeling.
They did check for diabetes and a pinched nerve. The MRI of the brain was done before it progressed. The MRI of the spine was done after it progressed. No other symptoms.

I woke up yesterday and my part of my tongue was starting to get a tingling numbness feeling, with in the next hour or so my lips, cheek, and chin were also tingling and numb. It begins with the right side of my chin and travels all the way up to my right temple. I have movement and there is no drooping, so its probably not bells palsy. I thought it would be better this morning but the same areas are still affected although the tingling is worse. I am also feeling very tired. Has any one else experienced this?

My uncle had this strange condition where the one side of his face drooped and when he laughed the other side was exaggeratedly higher. His tongue was a dark red/purplish colour. He had two transischemic attacks 2 or 3 years ago and also 8 years ago. He twitches. Could anyone tell me what this might be?

I recently went to the US and in a few days was found to have Bells Palsy. I would like to know if exposure to extremely low temperatures (0 to 4 degrees) can cause Bells Palsy. I had symptoms of loss of taste buds in my tongue about 3 weeks before this problem was diagnosed. I want to know if the loss of taste which I had 3 weeks back is linked to the same problem. Was that a starting symptom for this problem.

Angina Help

I was told today that I have Bells Palsy.. Over the last two weeks I had an absessed tooth that was very painful, it stopped hurting. Than four days ago my tongue went numb on the right side, than my right side of my mouth, than my right eye and nostril.. I am wondering if it is from my tooth? The tooth is on the right side!
