A neurologist told me today he believes it may have been an isolated incident of Bell’s Palsy. Should I be freaking out? Because I am…most seriously.

Help with Angina

Has anyone been diagnosed with MS with negative test results?

Bell Palsy

The right side of my face went numb including the right side of my tongue & lips, all the way up to my right side of my forehead. Right leg & arm felt really weird, had slurred speech, handwriting was affected and I was always tired & weak, double vision & some blurriness in both eyes. I’ve been tested for an MRI, EEG, BAER & VER but all have negative results. Next is the ophthalmologist. I have not had a stroke & I don’t have bells palsy. My neurologist prescribed gabapentin to calm the nerves & has not ruled MS out (yet). Not sure if the medicine is working but I’m pretty much back to normal except the right side of my tongue still feels weird (slight tinny taste) & I still have the double vision. Anyone with similar symptoms or anyone diagnosed with MS with negative test results? Any help would be appreciated.

It is still kinda of numb and heavy feeling. i have made an appt. with my Dr. so I’ll be seeing him but I just wonder if this has happened to any one else. I see a neurologist and he said my MRI was normal could an MRI change in like 3 months? I have no clue. Its just weird that my face feels this way. I have gotten every comment from a stroke which it wasn’t to bells palsy, which it could be or even still ms. I am worried can some one give me some in site?

Anxiety Help

Could this all be related to anxiety?

For the past 5 weeks, after having Bell’s Palsy (which I recovered from really well) I have been having all sorts of other symptoms (Muscle twitching all over, tingling, numbness, etc.) They have done bloodwork, CT scan, MRI and a check up from a neurologist. All is coming back NORMAL. Could all of these symptoms REALLY be from stress or anxiety? I don’t feel like myself at all. I can’t shake this feeling of uneasiness….but can it really be psychological?
I’m only 31.
