I got bit by something, it turned out to be a tick bite. It gave me a swollen lymph node. She just ordered a regular CBC which came back normal but does NOT detect Lyme disease.

This was in THE FIRST OF JAN 08. Now it’s the middle of May and I finally switched docs and they tested me for Lyme Disease which came back positive. It’s been almost 6 months and I am have serious neurological problems. My former doc missed the boat. This whole thing could have been prevented in Feb. Now, I’m having SERIOUS complications from this except Bells Palsy (sp).

I have spent so much money on meds, doctors appts, blood tests, and surgery to get my lymph node removed. I want to be compensated. I have since had HORRIBLE panic attacks, lost weight from the stress, and have been through EXTREME EMOTIONAL DISRESS.

What would you do? Should I call her and ask her for compensation or sue her? She could have stopped this before I had neurological problems, and trust me it is painful and annoying. Help!

Treating Anxiety

i have been sick about 1 1/2 months and know they say i have lyme deases and bells palsy. they put me on medicene but half my face is still numb and wont move. is there anything eles i can do or do i just have to wait for the med.? it is bad cuz i cant really eat with out the food getting caught in my troaght. i need help but only answer if you really know please i am bad enough and i need good advice.

I still have full muscle control. My doctor gave me medicine for shingles and Bell’s palsy. Also, I tested negative for lyme disease. I go to a neuroligist on Tuesday…..

Anxiety and Stress

My mom was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. They have ruled out all the obvious causes except Lyme’s disease. They ran tests and took 3 tubes of blood, and said they were performing 3 separate tests. One of which is Lyme’s, and the other 2, they wouldn’t tell her what they were for, they just said they would cross that bridge when we get to it. Does anyone know what those tests could have been, I’m assuming they aren’t good, because he said to hope that it is Lyme’s. And if it’s not lyme’s, is there a possibility that there just isn’t a cause, it just happened?? Any information would be greatly appreciated, she has to wait a week for results and I’m curios.
