numbness of face, lips and tongue?

Bell Palsy
tucker08

I woke up yesterday and my part of my tongue was starting to get a tingling numbness feeling, with in the next hour or so my lips, cheek, and chin were also tingling and numb. It begins with the right side of my chin and travels all the way up to my right temple. I have movement and there is no drooping, so its probably not bells palsy. I thought it would be better this morning but the same areas are still affected although the tingling is worse. Has any one else experienced this?

Trumpet and my lips?

Bell Palsy
Antonio

ok i have played trumpet for 6 years now and when i was iin 8th grade my lip aberture go really bad. i remember when i was practicing i hit a high B flat and got pian in my lip but then it went away. but a couple days later my aberture was falling apart while i was playing my insrument. my director thought it might be Bell’s palsy but i went to a doctor for it and he didnt even know what bel’s palsy is, so he gave me this cream and told me to rub it around my lips. i couldnt really play at all for a week or 2. but slowly my aberture came back and i was playing right again. Also it happened when i was in 9 grade the same thing ware me aperture couldnt stay straight while i was playing and it was extremely hard to play cuz i was in barching band and i was expected to play. i went to my doctor but it was i different doc cuz i moved and she didnt no. it took almost 2 months for my aperture to come back to normal. so plzzz if u know wat that could be it would be a big help thank you.

ok..my Nuerologist told me that i have Bell’s Palsy.
I was 9 years old when i was paralyzed on the side of my face.
He now recommends that i might get Botox on my lip beacuse it isnt as full as my other side of my lips and it might help the droopyness. I am only 14. Are there any other alternatives or is botox a good thing??

facial and mouth problems?

Bell Palsy
laura seeks the Kwisatz Haderach

I have progressively become worse. 10 years ago I got Bells palsy. I have since had many problems with my lips. I have a hard time saying words, they don’t come out of my mouth correctly: for instance I call my son Tane, his name is Shane. I have begun to spit when I talk. This problem has really gotten bad, I don’t know what to do. Could what I have be neurological and not Bells palsy. Going to the doctors AGAIN is not a feasible option as I have no health insurance. I am hoping someone out there recognizes some of the symptoms and can tell me what’s going on with my facial problems.
