Bell Palsy

The left side of my face is completely paralyzed. i can only talk out the side of my mouth. My left eye will NOT close. Wont even blink. I have EXTREME headaches around and or behind my left ear. Left side of my face droops. I can’t even lift my left eyebrow. Am i supposed to be takin some kind or any kind of anti-inflamatory or pain-killer? Do i need to get medical attention, like as im typing this?! Like, RIGHT NOW?! How long will this last? I am hearin anywhere between 1 – 3 months. This CAN’T be true. Im only 29. Does this happens to just anyone? If it does leave, will it return? need answers. thank you for your feedback.
i haven’t gone to a doctor. My moms is a registered nurse of 35 years. she gave me an idea of what it could be. she said she had it once b4. but back then they didnt do anything for her medically. *obviously this was some time ago* Lookin for feedback from someone who has actually gone through it. A doctor hasn’t diagnosed me. But my mother and I diagnosed me. Just wana know am i over -reactin on the “freakin out” part…*TQ*
u’re right tho J.B. thanks

Living with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome?

Bell Palsy
Brendon A

a little over 2 years ago was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. After doing some research I have discovered that this is a symptom of Ramsay-Hunt. 28 months later I still have some paralysis and some of the symptoms of Ramsay-Hunt are evident (headaches etc.) In the last few months I have been prone to pains in the back of my head/neck that come and go. When less severe, it feels like a neck strain. When more severe my right eye flutters and tears and sometimes I am physically ill and in significant pain. I would like to hear from others out there that may have some first-hand experience with this. Unfortunately my Dr. has offered my little in the way of what I can expect in the future in terms of recovery, symptom management etc. Any advice (or hope) is sincerely appreciated.

Numbness in left side of face and pain behind eye and head?

Bell Palsy
Sarah J

I’ve had headaches on left side of face and pain in my eye for months, I am awaiting results of MRI Scan but have been told that they feel my condition is SUNCT. However this week from my cheek bone up to my eye is all numb like i’ve been to the dentist, I have been to A&E but they can not work out what is causing thie numbness. I haven’t got any droops so don’t feel it could be bells palsy. Your help would be great.

Is headaches and sinus issues normal after being diagnosed 6 months ago with bells palsy?

My husband was diagnosed with bells palsy in march. we have been through the ringer with this. It started as one thing and even went to being a brain tumor. His last MRI was clear. He has left leg numbness due to buldging and herniated disks. He had began to feel better but lately he has had headaches and his sinues are messed all up. Has anyone else experienced this with bells palsy? Does anyone have any information that they could share on this matter?
