I just had a pretty girl walk by me and smile….and I gave her my creepy Bell’s Palsy smile…ughh…
When am I gonna be normal again??? I can eat pretty well and taste food, but my smile is still crooked…I can close my eye voluntarily, but not all the way..finally, I can kinda move my eyebrow up, a tiny bit…

I went to the emergency room yesterday morning to find out that I have bell’s palsy. The doctor said since I am younger and that we found it early on it should last for too long. He gave me steroids and said if anything gets worse after the next day I should come back. Nothing has severed so I am fine, and I have a mild case. I can blink my eyes, but I cant smile or chew food well. My eyebrow will not move up or down. Sometimes I have pain near my ear. It comes and goes. If anyone has any idea how long this will last, please do not hesitate to tell me. I have a cruise coming up in August and I really dont want to go looking like this. Thank you.
Okay, so I have this relly annoying Bell’s Palsy. I have had it for at least three years!! It is really troubling me lately. It is not very seriouys and does not bother me very much. It is just lowering my self esteem. I can notice my one eyebrow is diffrent, my lip is off alignment. It just makes me feel really uncomfortable with myself. What is this? Is there anything I can do??
The doctor said I only had a mild case. I can blink both my eyes, but the side that has it is less as strong. I cant really move my eyebrow well either or my lip. I was just diagnosed with BP yesterday, and they have given me Steroids. Im going on this cruise in August and really wouldny like to look like this. Does anyone have a geuss of when it will go away? Also does it just go away or does it decline in severity over the days?
