What is the longest anyone has ever felt symptoms. My Dr. originally thought that I had Bells Palsy but when the numbness did not go away, he started saying MS. But I have had negative exams for 3 years. Just trying to get some insignt.
I had bells palsy 12 years ago briefly. The nerves on the right side of my face didn’t grow back properly and I get spasms in the right eye and down the right side of my face. The eye is most noticeable. The neurologist put me on various medicines but none worked until an Opthamologist started injecting botox to “paralyze” the nerves. It worked but wore off after a few months. I’ve been going through this for 10 years and now the botox doesn’t even work. Has anyone else had this or know of anything else I could try? It has isolated me socially and made me very self conscious. People think I’m winking at them and when I talk I have a slight slurring because my mouth is slightly twitching.
My lower left lip has some sort of paralysis. I have almost no mobility with my lower left lip. It’s not very noticeable, except when I smile really big or move my mouth a lot when I talk. Because of this I can’t really smile showing my teeth.
My mom told me it was nerve damage from being in the womb, but I have full feeling in my lip, I just can’t move it much.
1. none stop headach
2. drooling mouth
3. dificulty in closing the one eye.
4. none stop heat in the body which seems to be like burning sensation especially on my forehead.
thought my 60yr old mother had a stroke sat morning when we took her to the hospital they said much to our releif that it was not. her right side if her face went numb and was diagnosed with bellspalsy.(not sure if im spelling this correct or not)can someone explain what this is thankx
under my right ear on the side where my jaw is is hurting and its almost been a week since i found out i had it. how long will it take for the nerves to heal? thanks for your answers
I have bells palsy and i am worried about having some affects after i have recovered
what can i do to prevent my having long term effects.
My eye is continuously watering, and I am aware I need to protect against wind, and infection – has anyone continued to swim?
I experienced sudden servere headache. Horrible, horrible head pain. Weakness on my right side. Vision in my right eye was extremely blurred. No one could touch me I hurt so bad. Went to the doctor who said I had bells palsy. I lost alot of the hearing in my right ear and it also was painful. Dr. wrote down that she did a C-scan and results were negative. She never did a C-scan so I don’t know what she is talking about. She put me on prednisone but since then I read not to take prednisone if you are taking any vaccines. I was in the middle of my Hepitits B series. I understand it can cause nerve damage. I have nerve damage now all over the right side of my face! I understand that this doctor shouldn’t have put me on prednisone since I was taking my Hep. B shots. Anyone else out there that has been injured by taking prednisone (deltasone)? Anyone out there that knows of a class action suit against the manufacturer for this drug? No one will come against this doctor for me
I have got facial bells palsy for the past five months. It has shown some improvement. After three months I was been detected having tubercolusis the treatment for it is going on, please give me suggestion how to cure it and address of a doctor who could help me for facial bells palsy.
