Has anyone here with Bell’s Palsy tried Botox?
Well, according to the Bell Palsy ws website, there are lots of posts about how Botox has worked. I am trying anything to stay far away from plastic surgery. It’s only a question!

I am starting to feel the same pain in my neck and behind my ear.I still have problems from the first time 9 months ago so I don’t know if it could be a part of that.but I am scared it is happening again
he has had this palsy for three months, the only visible signs now are the left side of the upper lip is slow and the left eye looks normal but he says it is blurry at times and hurts,,what do we do…………………..Mark
I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy 1 month ago. Mild case….facial movement was back within a few weeks. I still, however, have shakiness or twitching, especially when I try to hold a facial position or smile. Is that normal? It seems to tremble when I hold a position too long with my face.
My dog was prescribed Prednisone for cancer, but it caused him adverse side effects so we only administered a couple of the tablets to him. Now I have been prescribed Prednisone for Bell’s Palsy. Are there any significant risks of my using the leftover 20mg Prednisone tabls since it is the same drug used in humans?
I had Bell’s Palsy on the left side of my face when I was 12 years old. I’m 18 now and for the past 3 years now my left eye will twich for a couple of days then stop for while, then it’ll start again. Now this is like nonstop twiching. It’ll do it for hours straight and it’s really annoying when i’m trying to read and watch t.v. Can the Bell’s Palsy be a cause for this?
the part where my face was paralyzed from the bell’s pasly is doing much better, but it looks all uneven, and the areas that were weak are much better, but they have these deep creases/lines….I look much older than I was
Will it get better as it heals a little more? I am already almost 100% better, but these damn wrinkles are there…I’m only 24 and people think I’m much older……
help…I’m so f’n ugly
I am a 29 year old female and am being treated with Prednisone and an antiviral. I am very stressed out and do not want this to impact my social life. I have a bachelorette party to attend on saturday and want to make sure that having a few drinks won’t slow down my recovery time from this god awful condition. Any first hand experiences with drinking on Bell’s Palsy and will I still be ok? Help, this is new to me and I feel like I am completely in the dark.
I’m trying to decide if i should go ahead & start my 12 weeks off at the end of this week–which is my due date. i had wanted to try & work up until delivery, but i’m feeling a bit worn out (have had a series of mild complications–Bell’s Palsy, bad pitting edema, pre-eclampsia scare). I will be induced at a week past my due date (at most) so i’d only have one week off before the baby would be here…
so, what would you do?
try & work the next two weeks (or up until labor) or take my leave at the end of this week (if she doesn’t come before her due date)??
yeah, i want to spend as much time with her, but at the same time, i don’t want to be totally worn out at delivery!
a friend of mine recently was diagnosed with this. are there any things she can do to get her facial muscle working again faster?
