Well, according to the Bell Palsy ws website, there are lots of posts about how Botox has worked. I am trying anything to stay far away from plastic surgery. It’s only a question!

I don’t know why they would, since Ball’s Palsy paralyzes your face, as does Botox.

My niece had Bell’s Palsy, and no, she didn’t try it…why should she…½ her face was already sagging, why would you think botox would help, when that only paralyzes more muscle?

Please, elaborate…I’m sure we all would like to know if their is a hidden cure.

    Thank you!

Botox is used when the facial nerve recovers, the nerve fibers get mixed up, and there is simultaneous movement of several parts of the face. For example when you blink you will smile too on the same side. So they use botox to partially paralyxe the mouth muscles so when you blink, your mouth doesn’t move as much.
