I had Bell’s Palsy on the left side of my face when I was 12 years old. I’m 18 now and for the past 3 years now my left eye will twich for a couple of days then stop for while, then it’ll start again. Now this is like nonstop twiching. It’ll do it for hours straight and it’s really annoying when i’m trying to read and watch t.v. Can the Bell’s Palsy be a cause for this?
Can you tell me if I have Bell’s Palsy and if so which side is effected

a little over 2 years ago was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. After doing some research I have discovered that this is a symptom of Ramsay-Hunt. 28 months later I still have some paralysis and some of the symptoms of Ramsay-Hunt are evident (headaches etc.) In the last few months I have been prone to pains in the back of my head/neck that come and go. When less severe, it feels like a neck strain. When more severe my right eye flutters and tears and sometimes I am physically ill and in significant pain. I would like to hear from others out there that may have some first-hand experience with this. Unfortunately my Dr. has offered my little in the way of what I can expect in the future in terms of recovery, symptom management etc. Any advice (or hope) is sincerely appreciated.
My 7 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. Her doctor says to just left her face heal on its own. I have been doing facial exercises with her every nite, is there anything else I can do to speed up the recovery process? She’s had it for 10 days.
I have completed 2 of 3 doses in the Twinrix series. About 6 weeks after the second dose, I got Bell’s Palsy. No one knows whether there is any connection between the Twinrix and Bell’s Palsy (BP is listed as a “very rare” side effect on the Twinrix labeling). I am due for my 3rd (and final) shot in May 2007. My question is this:
1) Bell’s Palsy has scared me to death, and I really don’t even want to risk the possibility that the Twinrix contributed to it. Will there be any problems if I choose NOT to take the 3rd and final Twinrix series?
2) If I stop after just 2 of the 3 shots in the series, will I have any protection from HEP A&B, or was is all for nothing?
So today, I visited my grandfather, and when I came home I found out he had Bell’s Palsy and also learned that it is transmitted by a virus. What are the chances that I acquired it within my two hour stay?
I am 17 by the way.
I know it’s an unlabeled use, but anyone know the dose? bell’s palsy (infant) thx
