Lately in the past 3 months our family has been visisted with a lot of tirals from bells palsy, to a seperation from spouse, very bad upset stoamchs, a sibling most likely losing a job after 23 years of hard work, very high pressure at work, one of my other siblings money is so tight and another losing her job and unelpoyment disputing and this all happend literally in 3 months and I have a lot of siblings.
My question not so much of why this all happened to my immediate family this is life crap happens but this has never happened before with all of us struggling at once.
What Can I do to be a light to my siblings? How can I encourage those who dont yet know the Lord? I got bit very hard so to speak by a thorny trial but I choose to rejoice because God is in FULL control.
For those of you that everything fell apart all at once. How did you handle this? I want to be a mature godly Christian and I want God to get the glory. Thank you and God bless you.
My whole life something has been wrong with my mother. And at first it was female problems like a hysterectomies etc etc. Which obviously she couldent help. But then whe I was about ten she took so many pain pills she got addicted and would pass out everywhere and stuff. Anyway after the stint of living in someones nasty basement with her drug habit I finally convinced her to move to Virginia where my aunt is. And for a few years everything was fine. But then it all changed again.. First her arm hurt, Then and I know this sounds completly out there I think she kinda faked bells palsy Iv seen pictures before and she dident look like that at all. She looked like she was doing it herself. But her doctors are to dumb to realize she knows how to play the game. And then after that its her foot it always something new wrong with her. I try to be supportive but on the inside I just want to push her down a flight of stairs lol Am I a bad person? could there really be something wrong? or does she just bug her doctors to the point where they just give her diagnosis she wants? I just dont know what to do for her anymore. And im being driven insane since for the past year she cant walk…apparently…please help!
What is the longest anyone has ever felt symptoms. My Dr. originally thought that I had Bells Palsy but when the numbness did not go away, he started saying MS. But I have had negative exams for 3 years. Just trying to get some insignt.
I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with it and I know that most people have half their face paralyzed but only my eye is….did he miss diagnose me?
i think i may need them and how much is the whole process going to cost for one implant? thanks
I had bells palsy 12 years ago briefly. The nerves on the right side of my face didn’t grow back properly and I get spasms in the right eye and down the right side of my face. The eye is most noticeable. The neurologist put me on various medicines but none worked until an Opthamologist started injecting botox to “paralyze” the nerves. It worked but wore off after a few months. I’ve been going through this for 10 years and now the botox doesn’t even work. Has anyone else had this or know of anything else I could try? It has isolated me socially and made me very self conscious. People think I’m winking at them and when I talk I have a slight slurring because my mouth is slightly twitching.
I had it in the Fall of 2003 and it lasted about 4 months. Have had lingering effects…chin still quivers, right eye appears smaller (lid shrunken a little)
Has anyone else experienced the same? How long did your episode last? What were your lingering effects, if any?
My lower left lip has some sort of paralysis. I have almost no mobility with my lower left lip. It’s not very noticeable, except when I smile really big or move my mouth a lot when I talk. Because of this I can’t really smile showing my teeth.
My mom told me it was nerve damage from being in the womb, but I have full feeling in my lip, I just can’t move it much.
I’m looking for the top specialists in Bell’s Palsy. Who is the best for treating this?
