He has Bell’s Palsy. That is why the doctor perscribed this medication. Are these pimples normal?
Do I need to message her face or do any at home treatment? Her doctor says no, but I have heard otherwise. I am worried sick about her little face, I know I should be thankful it is not a terminal illness. Can anybody give us any suggestions?
aside from the standard wikipedia answer, what is it? have you ever had it? did it “freak you out”? how soon did you get treatment for it? i just took my man to the ER tonight – we are both a bit “freaked”… when he went to throw his bagpipes on his shoulders, the whole side of his face drooped. the ER said it wasn’t life threatening… he’s supposed to go to the doc tomorrow. I wasn’t even aware that it is an infection (it must be, right? they said the typ course of treatment is antibiotics??)

erf. can someone ease my worries a bit? or at least shed a some light on it, in laymens terms? i’d love to hear from ppl who have had it, or have been close to someone who has…
.
thank you in advance!

What are your thoughts thank you
How long did it take to get over, have you ever had it again, did you have any lasting effects from it?
we have done all tests. no cause. anyone had it this long with possitive out come? can’t relieve stress, bell’s is causing more stress! dr. are less informed than us.( please do not answer if you have not had serious bell’s.) less than 90% degeneration of nerve. moderate eng or enog. severe headache and dizziness. considering contraversial decompession surgery. recomendations? afraid of continued down slide. (disability. doctor phobia.) would prefer natural remidies with proven studies. anyone informed? please help my family?! dr says pain may never dissapear? true?
i have simple terms. lookig for advanced description.
I came down with Bell’s Palsy about three and a half weeks ago….I seem to be improving fine, but I am afraid….every once in a while these nerves in my body twitch, other than in my face…many times in my thighs and upper leg…
I had an MRI done, and my neurologist told me it was only Bell’s Palsy..but I am a little afraid that the Bell’s may be an indicator of something worse.
I don’t have pain or anything, just the weird twitching. And it is only every once in a while. I took a the steroid Prednisone and the antiviral Acyclovir about three weeks ago , for the first week. They then put me on Lexapro to relieve the depression and anxiety, but I quit on Saturday cause I don’t think I need it. Could these be withdrawal symptoms? I have also been using Lunesta to sleep for the last few days.
And lastly, I went to the gym on Saturday, and worked out legs…could the twitching in my legs be related to this?
I’m going back to the neurologist in two weeks….
I have had it for almost 4 months now. I got it when I was 9 months pregnant.
Yes she went to the Dr.who diagnosed her with Bells Palsy. Yes we searched the internet to find out it is a virus and one of the nerves in her brain went into some sort of trauma……Does anyone know how long this will last? I am in Miami, ready to fly to Colorado to help her, she is hysterical…….any info would be appreciated. Thank you.
