My wife is 65 years old with Bells Palsy how long will
it last?
am i relapsing?
ok I have had bells for almost 4 weeks now. within the first two weeks my mouth/smile was back to normal and the ringing in my ear (affected side) became less. now 4 weeks into it im able to squint my eye and close it tightly. but it still does not blink completly and I still have an annoying but light ringing in my ear. my doctor said i should be patient and it will go back to normal soon. But im so annoyed i just want to be “normal” again. Can certain parts of your face go back to normal quciker than others?? any recommendations????
I had Bell’s Palsy back in April of 2006, when I was 8 months pregnant. I read online that it could come back in about 10 years. Well I have gotten it back again and it has only been 9 months. It is the most aggravating thing to get, eating, drinking, even talking is a challange! If anyone has experienced this or knew someone who got it again plaease help me with this on Bell’s Palsy! Thanks!
ok.. i believe i have bells palsy because one side of my mouth/lips sag down lower than the other. also i have a really crooked smile. and i believe that i have it on my cheeks also if that’s possible. and i think Ive had this for months or even years? Ive never really noticed until this year(2008).
i have been doing research on it and people say they only had it for like 6-8 weeks and it was gone? i don’t get it… ive had mine for a long time
some people say they have pain? when i dont have pain at all.
some people had treatments and stuff but is it also called bells palsy?
im not really sure what this word means but i want to know also if there is way to fix this. a cure? a treatment?
some people say they have or use vitamin b-12? is this a pill to help it go away?
please someone help me…!
thank you and God Bless!
yea some dude with bells palsy with no license and insurance hit me while i was drving my right of way. its his fault for sure. he could barley hold a cell phone(because of shaking from his disease)to call his brother and couldnt speak english. his brother came and said he bought the car for 200 bucks from somebody and has been drving it. IDIOT FAMILY. so i called the cops and they came and towed away his car but didnt arrest him. then the officer gave me my police report to give to my insurance company. what do you think? i called the cops because my conscience told me to. The guy that hit me looked very poor and so did his brother, and not to be mean but they looked really ignorant. i called the cops hoping that they would keep this guy from drving in the future. PLEASE comment and give me opinions or suggestions on what i should of done , or done wrong.
I’ve had it for two weeks, I think I’m getting a little better, but I till got this retard bell’s palsy face….the only attractive thing I had about me is my face…and now that might not be normal again!
I’m short, and I’m bald…all I had was a cute face…..
My life is f-in worthless…..all I want to be is normal to be able to live a f-in normal life
I woke up yesterday and my part of my tongue was starting to get a tingling numbness feeling, with in the next hour or so my lips, cheek, and chin were also tingling and numb. It begins with the right side of my chin and travels all the way up to my right temple. I have movement and there is no drooping, so its probably not bells palsy. I thought it would be better this morning but the same areas are still affected although the tingling is worse. I am also feeling very tired. Has any one else experienced this?
Have you ever heard of Bell’s Palsy, had it, or have it now? I’m just wondering how common it is.
